Hi! I'm Janet, the maker behind Two Birds by Janet.
Where it began
Although I've been creating handmade earrings for almost a year, my love for jewelry goes back much further. In my twenties, I worked as a manager at Zales, where I learned to appreciate not only the beauty of jewelry but also the joy it brings to the people who wear it.
Today, I work for an airline, and that's where the idea for my first collection was born. I started making airplane-themed earrings inspired by the incredible people I work alongside and the adventures that begin every time we board a flight.
Why earrings
Travel has always been one of my greatest passions. Everywhere I go, I try to bring home a pair of earrings instead of a traditional souvenir. They're small enough to fit in a suitcase, but every time I wear them, they bring back memories of the places I've explored, the people I've met, and the experiences that made each trip special.
Stories you can wear
Many of my designs are inspired by travel, nature, and the little moments that make life memorable—from beaches and butterflies to sea turtles, airplanes, and places that leave a lasting impression. My hope is that every pair of earrings tells a story or reminds you of a favorite destination, a meaningful memory, or an adventure still waiting to happen.
